- Indeed (all jobs on Indeed also appear on Glassdoor, SimplyHired, and Resume.com)
- Adzuna

Permissions
To activate auto-posting, you need permissions for the Recruiting settings. You might also need support from your Personio Administrator to enable the other requirements listed below.
Requirements
Before you activate the auto-posting feature, complete these requirements:
- If you haven’t already done so, create and publish a job.
- Activate the Personio career page.
- Set up your workplaces. Make sure you fill in the address information.
- Include the jobs of your legal entities on your career parent page:
▶︎ Go to Settings > Recruiting > Career page.
▶︎ Choose a legal entity from the dropdown.
▶︎ In the Activations section, select Show jobs on parent career page.
Free postings vs. paid postings
With our auto-posting feature, you promote your jobs on external job boards for free. Keep in mind that free (organic) postings lose visibility faster than paid postings. They also don't have the same reach. If you need to hire quickly, you can book paid postings instead.
Activate auto-posting
Auto-posting is a feature that you activate on an account level, not on a job level. To activate auto-posting in your Personio account, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings > Recruiting > Promotion.
- Select the relevant company from the drop-down.
▶︎ Note: You can activate auto-posting for individual legal entities. For each legal entity, you can select specific job boards. This is independent from the settings of the parent company. With this feature, your auto-postings appear on external job boards with the correct branding. Learn more in our dedicated article. - In the section Auto-posting, select the relevant job boards.
- If you want to use LinkedIn for auto-posting, you need to add a recruiter profile. Learn more in the section below.
- Save and apply your changes.
When you next publish a job, the feature automatically sends it to the selected job boards.
Auto-postings can take up to three days to appear on the selected job boards. Your first auto-posting on Indeed can take up to two weeks.
Special settings for LinkedIn and Indeed
There are special settings for LinkedIn and Indeed. We explain these below.
Note:
If your company is a recruitment agency or similar, recent changes in LinkedIn guidelines may affect you. LinkedIn is unlikely to publish postings you make through auto-posting. You need to switch to paid postings instead.
Add a recruiter profile
If you want to use LinkedIn for auto-posting, you need to add the details of your company’s recruiter and store this information in Personio. This is to comply with current LinkedIn policy and to ensure your jobs become visible. If you are the person who takes care of recruiting in your organization, then you can add your own details.
- Go to Settings > Recruiting > Promotion.
- Scroll down to the section LinkedIn recruiter profiles and enter the relevant information. Make sure the email address you add is a corporate (work) address.

Indeed
With Indeed Apply, candidates can apply for a job posted on Indeed using their Indeed resume. This is instead of the system redirecting them to your Personio career page. This option simplifies the application process for candidates.
When you select Indeed for auto-posting, the system automatically activates Indeed Apply.
