If you schedule an interview using Personio’s integrated calendar, you might encounter certain issues. In this article, we explore common issues and provide possible solutions.
Access and permissions
This feature is available to employees with general access rights to the Recruiting app.
Your Administrator can also involve employees in parts of the application process via recruiting roles. For example, they can allow certain employees to schedule interviews. Learn more about recruiting role access rights.
Before you start
Your Administrator must integrate your company calendar using Personio’s subcontractor, Cronofy. Once this is set up, you can schedule interviews using the integrated calendar. This feature allows you to find a suitable time slot for all employees involved in the interview process. It also creates an interview event in the employees’ calendars with relevant details.
More information:
- If you set up the videoconferencing feature and are having issues, visit our separate troubleshooting article.
- You can also schedule interviews in Personio without the integrated calendar.
Try closing and reopening the calendar application
Issue:
You attempt to create, update, or schedule an interview in Personio. However, the change does not appear in your integrated calendar.
Possible solution:
It's possible that the data hasn't been synchronized yet. In this case, it can help to close the calendar application and reopen it.
Ensure the organizer’s email address is synchronized
Issue:
An error message appears when you try to schedule an interview and the calendar of the organizer is not synchronized.
Possible solution:
In Settings, under Integrations > Recruiting calendar, you can see a list of all unsynchronized users. Ensure your employees meet the criteria to be synchronized.
Ensure that Cronofy has write access to your data
Issue:
To be able to create calendar events, you need to give Cronofy write access to your data. (You can limit or restrict access to certain information. Learn more in our frequently asked questions on the calendar integration.)
Possible solution:
After you have modified the access rights, go to Settings, then to Integrations > Recruiting calendar, and sync all employees to apply the changes.
