Data transfer via the Lohnimportdatenservice

The Lohnimportdatenservice allows you to transfer time off, employee master data, fixed salaries, hourly salaries and one-time and recurring compensations from your Personio account to DATEV at a click of a button so you can use them for your next payroll run. Confidential data is transferred via a secure connection in the DATEV data center.

Retrieving documents via the DATEV Lohnauswertungsservice

The Lohnauswertungsdatenservice allows you to retrieve and import up to 29 employer and employee documents that your payroll accountant has released in DATEV. The confidential documents are retrieved from the DATEV data center via a secure interface and displayed in the Personio payroll table. From there, you can assign them to employees or process them further, for example, by storing payslips directly in the individual employees' documents.

Automatic eAU retrieval

The DATEV integration allows you to fully automate the retrieval of electronic certificates of incapacity for work (eAUs). When a time off request is made due to illness, Personio automatically retrieves the employee's eAU from the statutory health insurer via the DATEV integration and stores it in Personio. Notifications are sent whenever the status of the eAU request is updated.

Audit logs for the use of DATEV integration

Personio automatically logs all important actions related to DATEV integration. The audit logs allow you to see at a glance who made which changes and when, or which files were downloaded, carriedover, or accessed. This allows you to create maximum transparency and quickly trace errors or unauthorized changes.

The following are logged, among other things:

• Changes to settings and authorizations
• Creation and transfer of export files
• Retrieval, distribution, and reversal of payroll documents
