This article explains how to reset your Personio account password. Learn how to reset another employee's password.
Note:
If you use single sign-on (SSO) to log in, you need to reset the password for the third-party service you use to log into Personio. If you log in with your email address, choose one of the two methods below.
Reset your password from the login screen
To reset your Personio password, follow these steps:
- Go to www.personio.com/login/.
- Enter your company’s hostname and click Continue.
- Click Forgot your password?
- Enter the email address you use for Personio and click the Send reset link.
- Check your email and use the link to reset your password.
- If you can’t find the password reset email, follow these troubleshooting steps.
After changing your password, the system logs you out of all active sessions. You need to log in again with your new password.
Change your password from your account
You can only change your password from your account if you can log in to Personio. You also need to know your current password. To change your password, follow these steps:
- Click your name at the bottom of the main navigation sidebar.
- In the top-right corner, click the three-dots icon.
- Click Manage account.
- Click Reset your password.
- Enter your current password and enter your new password twice. Make sure to follow our password requirements.
- Submit your changes.
After changing your password, the system logs you out of all active sessions. You need to log in again with your new password.
