This article gives you an overview of the Recruiting Home tab. This area contains several widgets, where you can access key recruiting information in one place.
You can:
- Track candidate updates. This ensures that you stay on top of recruiting communications and efficiently move candidates through the pipeline.
- Complete recruiting tasks, such as filling in evaluations and replying to comments. You can do this directly from the widget, therefore saving time.
- View scheduled interviews in a calendar format, allowing you to better plan your time. You can also join interviews directly from the widget.
Access the Recruiting Home tab
To access the Recruiting Home tab, go to Recruiting > Home. This section is available to users with general permissions to the Recruiting App. Your Administrator can also grant employees access to different areas via recruiting roles.
Updates widget
The Updates widget gives an overview of all new comments, messages, and evaluations about your candidates. In this widget, you can access information for each job and application where:
- You are part of the hiring team, and
- Your recruiting role has access to messages, comments, and evaluations.
The Updates widget has four different tabs. Refer to the table below.
| Tab | Details |
| All | An overview of all comments, messages, and evaluations. |
| Comments |
|
| Messages |
|
| Evaluations |
|
Click New at the top of the widget to show new comments, messages, and evaluations that you have not read or replied to. Click All to see all items from the past 30 days.
By clicking on the item, you can also open the application in a side drawer. Here, you can directly view comments and read evaluations. Once you have interacted with the item, it no longer appears in the New view. For messages, you need to either reply to the message or close any to-dos in the candidate profile.
You can also click the name of a candidate to open the corresponding candidate profile.
Tasks widget
The Tasks widget provides an overview of your active Recruiting to-dos. For example, you can access:
- Evaluation requests
- Comment requests
- Comments where you've been mentioned
- Notifications about signed-off job offers
You can perform each task directly from the widget. Click on the task notification to go to the necessary area. You can also click on the header of the widget to go to your main Inbox.
Interviews widget
This widget gives you an overview of upcoming interviews. There is a calendar at the top where you can see the dates of scheduled interviews. Relevant dates are marked with a dot. Click on a relevant date to view all interviews scheduled for that day. The list is sorted based on start time, with the earlier interviews on top. Interviews that have already happened or that you decline appear at the bottom.
For each interview item, you can view the following information:
- The time of the interview
- The candidate’s name and position they are applying for
- The interview type
- The interview participants
- Your RSVP status (if available)
- A button to join the call
You can click on the interview preview to open the candidate’s profile. Personio automatically opens the Interviews tab. If you have scheduled an interview using videoconferencing, click the button to start the call.
In this widget, you can use three filters to organize the information:
- My interviews: Interviews for which you are an interviewer, an organizer, or both.
-
Interviews for my positions: Interviews for the positions and candidates whereby:
▶︎ You are added as part of the hiring team, and
▶︎ Your recruiting role has access to interviews. - All interviews: All interviews in the company. Only those with permissions to the Recruiting company settings can view all interviews.
Applications widget
In this widget, you can access four predefined shortcuts. Each shortcut shows you the number of applications within a default view in the Application List. Click on a shortcut to go to the relevant view.
This includes:
- The New applications default view
- The Overdue applications default view
- The Pending evaluations default view
- The All applications default view, filtered for prioritized applications
For each view, Personio applies the My jobs data set.
