Workforce Planning in Personio helps you visualize your current team structure, ensuring the right people are in the right roles at the right time. This ultimately helps you align company resources with business objectives and needs. It includes several highly interconnected features.
What features are included in Workforce Planning in Personio?
Workforce Planning in Personio consists of three interconnected features:
- The Job architecture settings
- The Positions tab
- The Planning Cycles tab
These three features are interconnected: the Job architecture settings and the Positions tab form the foundation for the Planning Cycles tab.
The first two must be configured before you can use the Planning Cycles tab.
The table below and the following sections outline how to configure each feature and the required Personio subscriptions for the full workflow.

Step 1: Set up your company's job architecture

Requires a subscription to Personio Core (available to everyone).

Step 2: Set up positions via the Positions tab
