After setting up Personio, you can invite your employees to join. This article outlines different ways to invite employees and track their invitation status.
Invite individual employees
To invite individual employees to Personio by email:
- Go to the employee profile.
- Click Manage account.
- Click Create login and send invitation email.
Invite specific groups of employees
Inviting specific groups, like managers, before everyone else can provide valuable feedback. To invite a specific selection of employees to Personio:
- Go to Employees > Employee List.
- Use the filter function to display a list of managers.
- Use the checkboxes to select the relevant employees.
- Click Actions > Send account invitation.
Invite all employees at once
You can invite all your employees to Personio at the same time using the Employee List.
First steps with Personio
When you invite your employees, they receive an invitation to Personio. When they follow the registration link in the email, they can create their password and log in. To help your employees get started with Personio, you can send them our first steps article.
Note:
If you use Google single sign-on (SSO) for login, employees can access Personio as soon as you enable it. With OAuth, they can log in after you create their account without needing an invitation.

Track employee invitation status
Check which employees you have invited or not to Personio by following these steps:
- Go to the Employee List.
- Edit the list columns and add the Invitation status attribute.
- To find employees who you haven't invited, filter for the status None.
- To see who you have invited, filter for the status Invited (they received the email) or Joined (they have logged in).
