Before you get started
In order to use the DATEV integration, you or your payroll accountant need the appropriate access rights.
Problems during setup
The following error messages occur during the authorization process after the DATEV integration has been successfully set up.
Authorization unfortunately unsuccessful!
Problem:
When attempting to authorize, you receive the error message "Authorization was unfortunately not successful". This means that access rights for the payroll import data service and/or payroll analysis data service are missing.
Solution:
Your payroll accounting person must grant access to DATEV.
Inform your payroll accounting staff or tax advisor that they can obtain assistance from DATEV in ordering and setting up the payroll programs. Tax consultants can organize a free appointment with the DATEV Partner Onboarding Team at short notice.

Missing Tenant and Advisor ID
Problem:
An error message will be displayed in the preliminary payroll table that indicates that important information for the DATEV export is missing.
In this case, the Tenant and Advisor IDs haven't been stored yet.
Solution:
Enter the client and consultant number in Personio.
Navigate to Payroll Accounting > Manage > DATEV LODAS/Wages and Salaryin the General Settings area and use the pencil symbol to enter the client and consultant number from DATEV.
