This article lists all the cards available on the homepage. It also explains which employees are shown in each card, who can see them, and how to make cards visible in employees' accounts.
Tip:
You can customize what your employees see on their homepage. Go to Homepage settings and enable Custom default order to set a default card order for everyone; also enable People can reorder their cards to let employees change the order themselves.
Right column cards
Time tracking
Use this card to track your working hours. You can then check the tracked time in the Time off & attendance area. This table shows who can view the Time tracking card and how to make it appear in employees' accounts.

Profile

Time off
The Time off card displays:
- Your time balance for "Paid holidays" time off (example: 21 days).
- Your balance for "Sick leave" time off, if configured to be taken a limited number of times.
- Your upcoming approved time off.

Workforce overview
This card shows a snapshot of the employee life cycle, indicating how many employees are in each stage—such as onboarding, active, and offboarding. This table shows who can view the Workforce overview card and how to make it appear in employees' accounts.

Shortcuts
Use this card to add links to external sites, such as your company’s website, so that all employees can see them on their homepage. You can add different links for different legal entities.
Note:
The system uses a DNS check to validate links. If the check fails, the URL is marked as invalid, and you can't save the shortcut. This might also affect internal company URLs, like intranet pages.

Your documents

People

Left column cards
Inbox highlights
This card shows overdue tasks from your inbox that need immediate attention and provides you with access to your full list of pending tasks. This table shows who can view the Inbox highlights card and how to make it appear in employees' accounts.

Announcements
This card shows important announcements from the company right on everyone’s homepage.
You can:
- Schedule new announcements to go live and expire on specific dates.
- Make the announcement visible to only certain offices, departments, teams, legal entities, or specific employees.
- Send the announcement to those specific employees via email at the moment it is published (delivery may take a few minutes).
- Add a cover image for the announcement. For best results, use 760 × 285 px for PNG files, or 1088 × 408 px for JPG and other formats. Personio automatically resizes and crops images to an 8:3 aspect ratio.
- Have up to three live announcements visible on the homepage at once.
- Get an overview of all expired, live, and upcoming announcements by clicking See all.
You cannot retrieve announcements that you have removed.
Note:
Admins and employees with edit rights for Announcements see all announcements. This includes announcements you make visible to only a specific group they're not part of.

Calendar
This card shows the key events for your peers over different time frames, such as this week, next 4 weeks, and beyond. You can filter these events by your direct team, department, or the entire company. Key events include time off, working remotely, birthdays, and anniversaries. Celebrations
This card is a simplified version of the Calendar card, emphasizing the key moments to celebrate in the current week, such as birthdays and work anniversaries. This table shows who can view the Celebrations card and how to make it appear in employees' accounts.

It depends on your selection in Homepage settings. Go to Celebrations to choose which events (birthdays, anniversaries, or both) will appear on the calendar card. If you enable celebration animations, balloons appear on an employee’s homepage for special occasions like birthdays or work anniversaries. Click the balloons to pop them or click the X on the “It’s your big day!” message to close the animation. |

Note:
The Celebrations card only reads from the preset Date of birth attribute. A custom attribute — even if named "Birthday" and filled with the right data — doesn't work for this card. Interviews
This card displays all your upcoming recruiting interviews where you are the selected interviewer. This table shows who can view the Interviews card and how to make it appear in employees' accounts.

Payroll
