This article addresses the most frequently asked questions about enabling Google Jobs for the Personio career page.
Google Jobs is a search engine that scans all jobs on a Personio career page. It makes them eligible to appear in Google search results and in Google Jobs searches. As a result, your job postings may be more visible to potential candidates.
How do I enable Google Jobs for my Personio career page?
Go to Settings > Recruiting > Career page. In the Activations section, check the box to enable Google Jobs.
Enabling Google Jobs only allows Google to crawl your job. It doesn't guarantee that the job will appear in Google Jobs. Personio has no influence on this.
Why doesn't my Personio career page appear in Google?
It can take some time for Google to crawl your career page (two to four weeks). It also might not appear on the first page in the Google search. If you integrate your Personio career page into your own corporate career page, we can't guarantee the ranking. We recommend checking the HTML of your own career page to ensure it respects Google's standards on page crawling.
Does my Personio career page appear on top of the Google search?
The job in the Google search depends on the Google crawling mechanism. Personio has no influence on it. The structure of our career page ensures a good score for crawling, but it can take time to get to the top of the Google search.
Why aren't jobs listed in Google Jobs?
Make sure to tick the Enable Google Jobs checkbox (Settings > Recruiting > Career Page). This ensures that Google Jobs receives the information. Personio doesn't have influence on where the jobs appear in Google.
