This article explains how to set up the About profile page. The About profile page shows important coworker information in one place. You can see job roles, reporting lines, and contact details. You can control and customize the information to suit your organization’s needs.
Before you start
- You must be an Administrator or have configuration rights to Employee information to configure the About profile page.
Control what employees see
The About profile page is a global feature. All employees see it by default. Individual permissions define what each user sees in each widget. You can turn off the About profile page for the entire account. You can also turn specific widgets on or off for all employees.
How widgets display information
Widgets display information based on specific attributes. Employees need access to the attributes associated with each widget to view the information. Check that these attributes are in sections accessible to all employees who need to view them. You can find the attributes associated with each widget on the settings page. You can control widget visibility for all employees. Individual permissions determine what information each user sees within the widgets:
- If an employee doesn’t have access to all required attributes, the widget doesn’t appear.
- If an employee has access to only some of the required attributes, the widget shows limited information. It shows only the information related to those attributes.
