Learn how to publish and promote your jobs in Personio and on external job boards. These options will help you save a lot of time and effort.
Option 1: Publish jobs on the Personio career page
You can publish jobs on your Personio career page. To do so, you need to:
- Configure your Personio career page and publish it.
- Create a new job in Personio and publish it. The job will then be immediately published on your Personio career page under myaccount.jobs.personio.com.
To promote jobs on your own corporate career page, you have different options (link, iframe, XML, API). Learn more about the options to connect your career page to Personio.
Option 2: Publish jobs on external job boards via multiposting
Once you have created a job in Personio, you can post the job on external job boards to attract candidates. We work with GoHiring to make the publication of your jobs across job boards smoother. The Promote feature offers free and premium posting types. See the list of all available job boards.
Personio multiposting offers the following benefits:
- Personio transfers your job data to GoHiring. They forward it to all the selected job boards, so you don't have to create a posting on each of them.
- Manage all job promotions in one place.
- Automatic tracking of jobs and candidates.
With Personio multiposting, you have different options to promote a job externally:
- You can post on different job boards, depending on your needs.
- You can take advantage of the Personio Posting Bundles. These bundles are cost-saving packages on specific job boards, tailored to your needs. Learn more about Personio Posting Bundles.
- If you already have contracts in place with external job boards, you can store them in Personio. Personio will not charge you, and the billing will take place between you and the job board. Learn how to store frame contracts with external job boards in Personio.
If your job has multiple locations, an icon appears next to job boards supporting this feature. You will see the main location by default. Additional locations will follow, separated by commas. They must be less than 255 characters. Every job board supports multiple locations differently. If a job board does not support this feature, create a job for each location to promote it.

Option 3: Publish jobs on external job boards via auto-posting
Job auto-posting is a feature that you can activate on an account-level, not on a job-level. When you activate it on your account, all your published jobs are sent to a range of job boards for free. Your jobs can achieve a wider reach, especially internationally. It also automates the process of posting a job on a selection of platforms.
When using LinkedIn and Indeed for free via the auto-posting feature, your jobs do not have the same reach as paid postings. Sponsored jobs rank higher, whereas organic ones quickly lose visibility. We recommend using the paid promote feature to achieve better results.
You can select the following job boards for auto-posting:
- Indeed (jobs are also posted on Glassdoor, SimplyHired, and Resume.com)
- Adzuna
- Joblift
- Jobrapido
- Jooble
- Monster
- Nuevoo/Talent.com
- Recruit.net
If your job has multiple locations, the main location appears by default. Additional locations will follow, separated by commas. They must be less than 255 characters. Every job board supports multiple locations differently.

Option 4: Promote without Personio – use tracking links
You can use tracking links if you promote a job on an external job board without using the multiposting feature. You can create a tracking link in Personio, and add it to the job posting on the job board. If the candidates click on the link, it will direct them to the Personio application form. You will then be able to track where these candidates come from. You can use this information to analyze the channel performance.
