How can I assign an Administrator when there are none available?

 

This article explains how you can assign a new Administrator in the following two scenarios:

 

Scenario 1: There is an Account Owner or Contract Owner available

If the Administrators of your Personio account are unavailable or the last one left your company, an Account Owner or Contract Owner can ask us to appoint a new Administrator.

If you're an Account Owner or Contract Owner, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Find Answers section via Help > Support and Updates > Find Answers.
  2. Type How can I assign an Administrator when there are none available? in the search bar and click on the corresponding result.
  3. Click Get support from the team.
  4. Choose how you would like us to get back to you and click Next to go to the contact form.
  5. In the Description, explain that there is no available Administrator for your account and clearly state who (first name, last name and e-mail address in Personio profile) we should appoint as Administrator.
  6. Click Send to submit the contact form.

Our support team will reply shortly and assign the specified employee as Administrator.

 

Scenario 2: There are no Account Owners or Contract Owners available

In case there are no Administrators, Account Owners or Contract Owners available, you can still contact us to assign a new Administrator, but we will need confirmation that you are allowed to carry out legal actions for the company.

To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Go to this contact form.
  2. Add your email address and a subject, and clearly state in the Description who (first name, last name, e-mail-address in Personio profile) we should appoint as Administrator.
  3. In the dropdown menu under How can we help you?, select Our Account Owners, Contract Owners and Admins are unavailable.
  4. Under Attachments, upload an excerpt of the company register, which clearly shows that you are allowed to conduct business on behalf of the company.

    Note
    The excerpt needs to be from the same day you send the message.

  5. Click Submit to submit the contact form.

Our support team will reply shortly and assign the specified employee as Administrator.
