In this article, you will find detailed instructions on how to grant and limit access to your account to the Personio support team.

Only Account Owners can grant access to your Personio account.
What is Personio Support Access?
Personio Support Access allows our support team to access your account. If you contact us to check or discuss a setting in your account, you must grant us access to it first. If this setting is disabled, our team will not be able to access your account.
Once Personio Support Access is active, our team will be able to log as one of your administrators.
Note
This setting is necessary to comply with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Enable Personio Support Access
Follow these steps to enable Personio Support Access:
- Navigate to Settings > Support > Personio Support Access
- Next to Access, click on Edit.
- Enable the slider Access granted to Personio customer service.
- Adjust the time period and click on Submit.
Tips
▶︎ If you contact our support team and your account needs to be checked, you must grant access for at least 1 day and up to 1 week (if the request is sent during the weekend).
▶︎ To support you as quickly as possible, we recommend enabling the access for 4 months so you do not need to replicate these settings every time you contact us.
Personio Support Access will be revoked at the specified end time and any existing login will be canceled.
