Work anniversary reminders
To create a reminder for your employees' five-year work anniversary, follow the steps below. If you want to create a reminder for other anniversaries, adjust the amount of days in step 5 accordingly.
Note:
This process takes into account only one leap year in the five-year period. If two leap years happen to fall within the five-year period, the reminder will be received one day earlier than the actual anniversary date.
- Go to Automations and click the Reminders tab.
- Click Create reminder.
- From the Notify dropdown menu, select the employee role that should receive the reminder. For example, HR Manager.
- In the About dropdown menu, select Hire date.
- In the Of dropdown menu, select All employees.
- In the When field, input 1826 days after the event.
- Choose if the notification should expire automatically or manually.
- Do not select the checkbox to repeat the reminder every year.
- Add a description for the reminder recipients.
- Save the reminder.
Birthday reminders
To create a reminder for your employees' birthday , follow these steps:
- Go to Automations and click the Reminders tab.
- Click Create reminder.
- From the Notify dropdown menu, select the employee role that should receive the reminder. For example, Supervisors.
- In the About dropdown menu, select My direct reports.
- In the Of dropdown menu, select All employees.
- In the When field, define a point in time when you would like to be reminded. For example, a day before the birthday.
- Choose if the notification should expire automatically or manually.
- Select the checkbox to repeat the reminder every year.
- Add a description for the reminder recipients.
- Save the reminder.
