Learn how to manage notifications and subscription settings in your Community account.
What do I receive notifications for?
You receive various notifications from our Community to keep you up to date. Most are based on subscribed posts, for instance, posts you have either written yourself or commented on. These are automatically subscribed to based on your activity.
However, you can also manually Subscribe to any topics or areas to stay up to date and receive a notification whenever there is a new comment.
Every post you are subscribed to, whether automatically or manually, can be managed and unsubscribed from as needed.
Tip
You receive notifications of topics or categories that you have selected as Favorites. Topics you have started are set as Favorites by default. To change this, go to your profile in the top-right and select Subscriptions from the list. Keep in mind that this will not unsubscribe you when you have subscribed to an entire category.
Manage notifications
You can manage all subscriptions across the board in your profile by clicking on My Profile > Edit Profile > Notifications.
Subscribe or unsubscribe from individual topics
To subscribe to individual topics, you can go directly to the respective post and click the star Subscribe at the bottom of the post. To unsubscribe, click Unsubscribe.
Subscribe or unsubscribe from new topics in a specific category
In all subcategories, you will find a black Subscribe button at the top-right, which allows you to subscribe to notifications for all topics in this area. Once you have subscribed to the category, the button changes to purple.
To turn off notifications for new topics in a specific category, click the purple Unsubscribe button.
