This article explains the Analytics area accessible through Personio's main navigation sidebar. This area is divided into the Overview tab and the Reports tab.

Benefits
The Analytics area helps you to:
- Understand your company’s most important metrics and KPIs.
- Put data into context to see how well your organization is performing.
- Make HR decisions based on data and strategy.
- Provide reports for other stakeholders in the company.
Overview tab
You can see a summary of the most important company metrics on the Overview tab.
This tab has widgets that display data from Report Builder report templates.
Reports tab
You can access all your previously created and reviewed reports in the Reports tab.
The labels are different depending on the report type. Reports created with the Report Builder are labelled as Reports. Reports made with the legacy reporting experience (Classic Builder) are labelled as Legacy System Reports or Legacy Custom Reports.
This tab has two sections: Last Opened and All Reports.

Last Opened: This section displays all the reports created via the new analytics experience (Report Builder) and recently viewed. It doesn’t include reports created by other employees.
- All Reports: This section lists all the reports created via both the new analytics experience (Report Builder) and the legacy reporting experience (Classic Builder). It includes custom reports created by other employees.

As we increase the data availability for the Report Builder, here’s what you can expect in 2024:
- An expanded range of attendance and salary options in the Report Builder to cover reporting across all your organization.
- Customization of the Overview tab to show the key information you need.
