This article explains how to manage organizational goals.
Note
Only Administrators and employees with edit rights for goals can create and manage organizational goals.
The organizational goals tab
You can view all organizational goals under Performance & Development > Goals > Organizational goals.
Tip To see which goals are linked to an organizational goal, click View linked employee goals on the relevant organizational goal.
Work with organizational goals
Update progress on an organizational goal
To update progress on an organizational goal, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Performance & Development > Goals > Organizational goals.
- On the relevant goal, click Update progress.
- The goal progress window opens. Under Achieved/Target, input the desired value.
- Click Save.
Personio will reflect the progress update on all goals that are linked to the organizational goal. The progress on each employee goal will change based on the weight of the organizational goal.
Edit an organizational goal
To edit an organizational goal, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Performance & Development > Goals > Organizational goals.
- On the relevant goal, click the three dots icon. Select Edit.
- The goal edit window opens. You can modify the goal's name, measurement, target, description and category, as needed.
- Click Save.
Edit the weight of an organizational goal
To edit the weight of an organizational goal, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Performance & Development > Goals > Organizational goals.
- On the relevant goal, click View linked employee goals.
- Personio displays the linked goals under the All employee goals tab. Click the name of the relevant goal.
- The goal details page opens. On the upper right, click the three dots icon and select Edit weights.
- The edit window opens. Under Weight %, modify the weight of the organizational goal as needed.
- Click Save.
Delete an organizational goal
Note
To delete an organizational goal, you first need to delete all the goals it is linked to.
To delete an organizational goal, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Performance & Development > Goals > Organizational goals.
- On the relevant goal, click the three dots icon. Select Delete.
- A window opens, asking you to confirm your choice. Click Delete.
View an organizational goal's history
To view the history of an organizational goal, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Performance & Development > Goals > Organizational goals.
- On the relevant goal, click the three dots icon. Select History.
The history page appears, listing the events related to the goal. A new entry appears in the history every time an administrator:
- Updates the goal's progress.
- Edits the goal's weight.
- Creates, edits, or deletes the goal.
