This is step 3 of 9 of the implementation module Recruiting.
Once you have set up your Personio career page, you can customize it and style it to match your corporate design. You can add custom elements such as your logo and a header background image, and adjust the font and colors.
What are the benefits?
By customizing and styling your Personio career page, you can:
- Ensure brand consistency by adapting your Personio career page to your corporate design.
- Promote your company to candidates by adding a custom About us section that will appear at the bottom of each job description.
- Set up important content, such as a data privacy statement, and custom content, like a thank you message, to appear on your career page after a successful application.
- Add translations of content to ensure your career page is accessible in multiple languages.
Step 1: Style your career page
Tips
▶︎ To see a preview of your current settings at any time while configuring the Personio career page, click Preview in the bottom-right corner. To apply changes at any time when configuring the Personio Career page, click Apply changes.

To customize the design of your Personio career page, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings > Recruiting > Recruiting > Career page.
- Scroll down the page to the Styling section.
- Configure the style elements, outlined in the table below, according to your company's brand guidelines.
Hide header image and headline Go to Layout and check the box Hide header image and headline to hide your background image.
Note
This function is especially useful if you want to seamlessly integrate the Personio Career page via iframe into your company's custom career page.Upload a logo Go to Logo and click Choose file to add your company logo.
Note
By default, when you click on the company logo, you will be taken to the homepage of your Personio career page. If you prefer to direct users to a different website, you can enter a link in the field You can edit the link for the logo on your career page.“See all positions” link If you are using your company's custom career page to display your open positions, you have the option to enter a custom link to the overview page of your positions into the “See all positions” link field. When a candidate clicks on See all positions on a position page, they will be taken to the positions overview page of your company's custom career page instead of the positions overview page of your Personio career page. Header background image To add a header background image, go to Header background image and click Choose file.
Tip
The recommended image resolution is 1920×1080 pixels.Font To choose a font, go to Font and select one of the options from the dropdown list.
Colors To adjust the colors, select a color or insert a HEX color code for the following areas: Primary (button color and header image background color), Button text, Position title, and Headline.

Click Apply changes.
Step 2: Add an About us section
You can create a general About us section based on your company profile. This section will appear by default at the bottom of each position's description.
To set up the About us section, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings > Recruiting > Recruiting > Career page.
- Scroll down the page to the About us section.
- Enter your description in the text editor. You can also add an image or video.
Tip
If you are creating your Personio career page or job descriptions in different languages, then you can select the relevant language(s) from the drop-down menu and then enter the translations in the text editor. - Click Apply changes.
Note
If you prefer not to include this section, leave it blank. The About us field will only be displayed and published if you have filled it with content.
Step 3: Complete your descriptions and translations
You can set up general content that will appear on your Personio career page. Follow these steps:

- Go to Settings > Recruiting > Recruiting > Career page.
- Scroll down the page to the Descriptions & translations section.
- Go to Translation and select from the drop-down menu which language you want to configure the content (German, English, French, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, or Portuguese).
- Configure the different elements, outlined in the table below, according to your company's brand guidelines.
Field Notes Thank you message Insert the text of the thank you message that you would like to appear when a candidate successfully submits an application form. Data privacy statement (required) As the operator of your career page, Personio automatically adds a data privacy statement on the processing of (personal) data. For more information on how to include a data privacy statement in your Personio career page and how to incorporate it into your application process, read our article Personio Career Page: Template for the Data Privacy Statement.

Every candidate must agree to the data privacy statement before they can submit their application.Your application content Enter any text that will serve as additional information for your candidates when filling out the application form. Your application header Enter the title of the application form. Required documents content Enter any text that explains which documents should be submitted with the application. Headline Enter a headline that will appear on your header image. If you prefer not to use a headline, leave this field empty. - Click Apply changes.
- (Optional) Now you can select a different language from the drop-down menu and create the translated descriptions. Learn more about the behavior of translated career pages in Personio Career Page: Language Handling.
