This article explains how to set up the integration between Omnipresent and Personio.

How to set up the integration of Omnipresent and Personio?
Start the activation in the Personio Marketplace
- Go to the Marketplace and search for Omnipresent.
- Click on the integration to open the drawer with further details.
- Select Connect to start the activation process.
- Click Generate new API credentials. The system will automatically enable the following API permissions:
▶︎ Employee data: Read only
▶︎ Absence data: Read only
▶︎ Attendance data: Write
▶︎ Documents: Read and write - Copy the client ID and client secret and click on Go to Omnipresent website to finish the setup in the partner's service environment.
Finish the integration in Omnipresent
- Go to app.omnipresent.com.
- In the menu on the left-hand side of the screen, click Integrations.
- Under the message “You are not currently connected to any HRIS”, click Connect HRIS and select your HRIS.
- Enter the required information and click Submit.
Note:
▶︎ It can take up to 24 hours for the initial sync to complete.
▶︎ If you’re using Square Payroll, a new window will open. Enter your login credentials and click Sign in. You’ll now see: “You are currently connected to [HRIS]. You can now access your employee data through Omniplatform”.
What data is transferred?
With the integration between Omnipresent and Personio, the employee data will be automatically transferred, saving you time and errors. These are the transferred attributes:
- Employment type
- First name
- Gender
- Last name
- Status
