In this article, you will learn how to integrate Shiftbase with Personio. You will get an overview of the requirements, together with instructions for setting up the integration with the Personio personnel data API.

 

What is Shiftbase?

With Shiftbase you can create an online staff schedule, register worked hours and manage your personnel administration. Every employee has their own login and can view data such as the work schedule, worked hours, overtime and deficit hours and the vacation hours balance.

Shiftbase has an automatic calculation of surcharges. The surcharges can be set per contract type or per shift. You can also get valuable information from Shiftbase with the available reports. For example, you can easily send salary data to your accountant.

 

How can I set up the integration?

Follow these steps to set up the integration between Personio and Shiftbase.

  1. In your Shiftbase account, go to Settings > App center > Personio.
  2. Click + Add Personio integration.
  3. Log in with your client ID and secret, which you generate in Personio when you go to Marketplace > Shiftbase > Connect > Generate new API credentials.
  4. Follow the configuration steps to set up your integration properly.

What data is transferred?

With the integration between Shiftbase and Personio, the worked hours and other important information of your employees will be automatically transferred, saving you time and errors.

The following employee data is transferred from Personio to Shiftbase:

  • First name
  • Last name 
  • Email
  • Status
  • Position
  • Weekly working hours
  • Hire date
  • Contract end date
  • Termination date
  • Department
  • Cost centers
  • Work schedule
  • Fixed salary
  • Fixed salary interval
  • Hourly salary

 

What are the costs?

Shiftbase offers different packages (Starter and Premium) with a monthly price per user and a minimum purchase that includes 10 employees. A detailed, up-to-date overview can be found on their website.
