This article explains where you can find your company's hostname, which you need to log in to your Personio account.
What is the hostname?
The hostname is used to uniquely name your company's Personio account and serves as a unique identifier. The company name that is provided to us during the account setup will be the hostname of the account. From that moment on, your hostname will be a fixed part of your Personio account URL (hostname.personio.de).
On the login page on the Personio website, you need to insert your hostname to be forwarded to your own company login page.
Where do I find the hostname?
As mentioned above, the hostname is usually the name of your company. If you don't know exactly which name was used, you can find the hostname in the welcome email you received from Personio. Look for an email titled "Welcome to your Personio account" that was sent to you by info@m.personio.de.
You can find the hostname in the URL at the bottom of the email, between "https://" and "personio.de". In the screenshot below, the hostname is "test-company".
If you can't find this email, and you have checked your spam folder, get in touch with your HR team. They will be able to tell you the hostname of your company's Personio account.
