This article contains tips to ensure you have set up your departments and offices correctly.
Required settings
- You've entered your complete office address, including the details below. This is important as external job portals request this information by default when using the recruiting section.
- Street
- Number
- Zip code
- City
- State (for German offices)
- Country
- If you have a remote office and want to offer a remote job and promote it on job boards, follow these steps:

- In Settings > Organisation > Offices, create a new office called Remote.
- Fill in the zip code and the country of your headquarters.
- You don't need any additional details on the address, The job details will show the location as Remote.

If your company grants additional (half) days off (for example on December 24 or 31), check that you've created a custom public holiday calendar and allocated it to the corresponding offices.
Optional settings
- You've created and assigned departments, teams, sub-departments, and sub-teams.
- You've deleted all departments, teams, sub-departments, and sub-teams not in use.
