Tailor your Compensation Management worksheets to meet the needs of your organization. With customizable worksheets, Compensation Admins can now modify the default information displayed and decide what data should be available to supervisors to help them make smart compensation decisions.
Compensation Admins can now:
- Select from a list of standard and custom attributes to add to the worksheet
- Remove unnecessary attributes from the default view
- Organize worksheets in a way that ensures the most important data is front and center for supervisors

Help employees write meaningful reviews

Customize review templates to fit your organization's needs and build a strong feedback culture.
Performance reviews just got easier to configure. Tailor review forms to fit your organization's needs with additional question types and private questions.
- More flexibility in designing review templates: Add descriptions to questions, use up to 10 options on a scale, and add multiple choice questions.
- Clear communication of who sees what: Audience visibility indicators and confidentiality settings allow everyone to understand who can view their responses and whether feedback provided is confidential.

Employee Management
- You can now import departments and teams into Personio. With this new feature, you can set up and manage organizational structures. It supports bulk updates and the creation of hierarchies. These imports help with large adjustments, like reorganizations.
- You can now opt-in to test out our new Metrics tab. The new tab is an advanced version of the Overview tab, allowing you to customize how widgets are displayed in the sections, and even create your own widgets.
- You can now use the Report Builder to create reports that include job attributes.
Recruiting
- We released a new Recruiting GET API endpoint, covering jobs, candidates, and applications. Learn more in our Developer Hub.
- We have added more functionalities to the Insights tab, as well as new charts. You’ll notice:
- A new section structure providing you with a clear overview of available charts.
- Two new charts that give you valuable insights into disqualification reasons and channel performance.
- The option to export your charts as a PNG.
- You can grant employees exclusive access to recruiting insights.
Performance & Development
- We redesigned our feedback forms. Now you can:
- Choose up to 11 options (ranging from 0 to 10) for numeric scale questions.
- Add up to seven options in descriptive scale questions.
- Add a detailed description to each question for better understanding.
- Add multiple-choice questions.
- We have enhanced our performance cycle export. You can now view the status of all reviews, including incomplete ones (though their content is not exported). The export also shows review comments and the employee's HR data, such as email, department, and position.
Personio Payroll
- We have introduced the Payroll Overview, a central hub that summarizes essential information for the current payroll cycle and offers easy access to additional payroll functionalities.
- Employees now receive notification certificates for each DEÜV message sent, containing all the information submitted to the insurance in their documents.
- Pre-sickness responses from health insurance providers are now accessible in the Compliance tab.
Compensation
- Admins can now customize the worksheet when setting up a compensation cycle. The customization helps to tailor the worksheet to fit the specific needs of your organization and employees.

- You can now check activity logs for your time entries.
- You can now set up a direct calendar integration to Google and Microsoft.
- We have introduced a three-month overtime recalculation cut-off point . When a change impacts the overtime balance, the system only recalculates the last three months.
- You can now access three new report templates
- We are in the process of transitioning the classic System Reports into the new Report Builder. You can read more here .
Recruiting
- We are improving the new Application List. To give you a better overview, we added a pipeline view for applications filtered by category or jobs in the same category. You can also use the new search functionality to quickly find candidates in the list.
Performance & Development
- You can now set up a default feedback form for Continuous Feedback that aligns with your company's unique culture and best practices.
- Employees can still choose a form when they proactively send feedback, while requested feedback uses your default setup.
- This gives you more control over how feedback is structured while offering flexibility to your employees.
Payroll
- We have introduced a new, clearer design for the payroll table for the DATEV integration , offering a modern, intuitive experience.
- DATEV Lohn und Gehalt Version 14.55 no longer supports the EU Social Security attribute.
Preliminary payroll
- We have introduced pre-set views to the Employee changes tab , so you can view either all changes and retroactive changes.
Personio Payroll
- We have introduced the Overview tab , a summary of all essential information for the current payroll cycle.
Integrations
- Slack and Microsoft Teams integrations now calculate time off return dates using working schedules and public holidays. This ensures more accurate return dates. We've also added a monitoring tab to view errors when sending channel updates.
Platform
- You can now filter and view audit logs for multiple employees in a single search. This helps you to streamline investigations and compliance reporting.
Surveys
- You can now download your survey results as a fully editable PowerPoint presentation.
Compensation
- As an admin, you can now use the new filters "Date of last salary increase after" and "Date of last increase before" when setting up a Compensation Cycle . These filters help you identify employees who haven't received a base salary increase within a specific timeframe.
Documents & E-Signatures
- With an updated document import feature, you can now upload documents in bulk and assign them to the right employee profile all in one place.
Workflow Automation
We’ve updated the workflow builder to improve your experience. You’ll notice:
- Regrouped triggers based on the object they related to, like Employee events, Time, and Documents, etc.
- A unified list that can help you to select Assignees for actions more easily.
- A more detailed Activity tab for monitoring your workflows.

All types of reporting lines, accurately reflected
Available for: Core Pro
Every organization works differently. Personio can now adapt even better to yours. Define different types of supervisors and show dotted reporting lines in the org chart. Trigger workflows for the relevant supervisor and ensure they have the access needed for their tasks.
If your employees have multiple supervisors with different responsibilities, you can now accurately reflect dotted lines and matrix structures in Personio:
- Define multiple additional supervisor types and assign up to 5 dotted line managers per employee and per type.
- Visualize your organizational structure including dotted lines in the org chart, helping your employees find the right contacts more quickly.
- Set up dedicated access rights for each supervisor type. Employees with a supervisor role of the respective type will automatically get these access rights to data of their reports.
- Use additional supervisor attributes in workflows to automatically route approvals to the right employees.
To set up distinguish tasks between different types of supervisors, start with assigning attendance approvals to the right supervisor. We will continue adding further approval types in the coming months.

- We simplified our document imports feature. When bulk uploading documents for multiple employees, you will now find it easier to assign each document to an employee, and specify the category and date.

- You can now choose the following languages in your personal settings : Catalan, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Hungarian, Norwegian, Romanian, and Turkish.
Payroll
- Preliminary payroll: We have added the new People tab and enhanced functionalities to the Salary and Time off tabs. You can now also select attributes for the payroll table at the legal entity level .
- Personio Payroll: Personio Payroll now automates payroll processing for professional pension funds , including DEÜV notifications, contribution proofs, and SEPA file generation, with ITSG certification.
Recruiting
- We improved the Applications tab in the job details. For each specific job, you can now view all applications and the candidate pipeline, as well as check for updates.
Compensation Management
- We enhanced our Compensation Management app by adding the target goal bonus feature. You can now select the target goal bonus option when setting up a Compensation Cycle .
Integrations
- The Slack integration now calculates time off return dates using working schedules and public holidays. Slack messages now display accurate return dates, avoiding updates on non-working days.
- The Entra ID integration now requires reduced permissions for setup, enhancing security. Existing users should re-authenticate to benefit from these improvements.

- You can now choose to display open positions from the Planning area in the Org Chart. To do so, add a Target supervisor to an open position in the Positions tab, and activate the Open positions customization card in the Org Chart.
- You can now oversee and manage company-wide workforce planning from a single tab with the new Workforce Planning app ( Planning Cycles tab).
- You can now access a new Time off Periods report template in the Report builder.
- We have redesigned the Employee profile header to include more key information at a glance.
- We have also enhanced the security of profile deletion: employees can no longer delete their own profiles; only Administrators have this capability.

- The setting of effective dates has been relocated from the end of the cycle to the cycle setup and the Worksheets/People list depending on the access rights. Previously, this was the final step before syncing new salaries to the employee profile.

- We've released the new Timesheet that makes it easier for your employees to track their time and monitor their attendance.
- You can now set up multi-weekly working hours. This helps you set up flexible work arrangements with a recurring pattern.
- We’ve introduced a new overtime overview to help you and your employees better understand overtime balances.
- You can now automatically translate attribute names and option values in the list of options attributes. Personio provides an auto-translation that you can accept, reject, or customize.
- We are adding more attributes to the Positions list in the Planning area. You can now use the following attributes: Target Supervisor, Target FTE, Actual FTE, and Hiring Manager.
Workflow Automation
- Approval chains are now available for attendance approval workflows! Assign up to four approvers per step, and create up to five steps in a workflow.
Documents & E-Signatures
- Control bulk document creation by category. Now, if a user has edit access to a document category, they can create documents for multiple employees at once.
Recruiting
- With our new insights tab, you can gain valuable insights into the hiring process of a specific job. New reporting charts allow you to identify inefficiencies and optimize the candidate experience.

- You can now access your latest payroll documents from the homepage, including your three most recent payslips.
- You can now view and download files on the mobile app. Use the widget filter to sort by category, with saved settings for future use.

Employee Management
- Personio now autofills legal entity information for you, so you no longer need to enter the details manually. Simply select a country and search for the full name of the legal entity. The details are filled in automatically.
- When rehiring a former employee, you no longer need to create a new employee profile for them. You can use the rehire feature to transfer data from the inactive profile to a new one without manual entry.
Workflow Automation
- We're improving our workflow builder! When editing a workflow, you can now add steps at any point without deleting existing ones.
- Users now get notifications when a workflow breaks. If a workflow is interrupted, due to missing attributes or deleted roles in a trigger, Personio sends the creator an email and Inbox notification. Notifications link to the workflow builder, where problems are highlighted for quick fixes.
Integrations
- We've added a monitoring tab for Identity and Access Management integrations. You can now track sync statuses, dates, and operations for each employee to troubleshoot issues.
Documents & E-Signatures
- Automated Signature Reminders are activated by default when requesting a document signature. These reminders help save time and avoid manual work. Choose how often to send reminders: daily, or weekly. Signers will get reminders by email at these times until they sign.
Platform
- The new mobile app streamlines time management with a calendar view. Track working hours, manage time off and attendances, and edit events. You can start and stop time tracking on both the mobile app and desktop, and they will stay synchronized.

- We've expanded the functionalities in the Insights tab. New filter options help you narrow down data to find the most relevant information. Additionally, more charts have been added to provide valuable insights into your hiring progress and process efficiency.
- Learn about our direct integrations with Google and Microsoft for outbound recruiting messages. These allow you to send messages to candidates via Personio using your custom email address, without the need to use SMTP with Basic Auth.

- The new mobile app streamlines time management with a calendar view. Track working hours, manage time off and attendances, and edit events. You can start and stop time tracking on both the mobile app and desktop, and they will stay synchronized.

- Job-related attributes (Job Name, Job Level, Job Track, etc.) are now available as a single attribute in the People list.

- Employees can now use the Time Tracking widget to track their working hours directly from their homepage.

- The Activity tab has been upgraded! We’ve added more filtering options, pagination, and an updated table design.

- We have improved our Recruiting reports. You can now see your relevant recruiting metrics in the new Insights tab.

- The Audit Log is now available to all customers. It tracks changes to company and employee data across Personio, showing who did what and when.

Personio Surveys
- The survey results overview now includes themes: quickly identify trends and glean insights by grouping questions into custom topics.
Compensation Management
- You can now see the last three salary changes when you hover over the
icon next to the last increase date in the salary history column. This helps you make data-based decisions.
