View and Edit Access Rights for Performance Review Cycles in Personio

 

 

This article explains edit and view access rights for performance review cycles in Personio.

 

View Performance Reviews

Review cycles can only be created by Personio Administrators or by employees with edit rights in the Performance & Development area. Performance reviews are created when a review cycle is created. 

Supervisors can view and access all review cycles in which at least one of their direct reports is participating.

Tables 1 to 4 below provide details of viewing rights for draft and sent Manager Reviews, Self Reviews, Peer Reviews and Upward Reviews.

Optional: The receiver of the feedback

Note Before they send it, the reviewer can share the Peer Review with the Reviewee. The Reviewee will then be able to view it under Performance & Development > Feedback.

Edit Performance Reviews 

Who Can Edit Reviews?

The reviewer who creates the review can edit it.

 

When Can Reviews be Edited?

Tables 5 below provide details of when draft and sent Manager Reviews, Self Reviews, Peer Reviews and Upward Reviews can be edited.

After a review is sent, it is locked. While a review cycle is still ongoing, only the Personio Administrator, the Supervisor and employees with edit rights in the Performance & Development area can unlock the review.

Once the review is unlocked, the reviewer can edit it. 

Sent Manager Reviews 

Can be edited only while a review cycle is in progress. Once a review cycle is closed, it is not possible to edit Manager Reviews.

 

Reviews cannot be unlocked and edited once a performance review cycle is closed.

 

View Performance Feedback

 

Performance feedback is created under the Performance tab by the user with Edit rights for performance data.

 

Where Can Performance Feedback be Viewed?

Performance feedback can be viewed under the Performance tab in the employee profile of the employee for whom the feedback is provided.

 

Who Can View Performance Feedback?

Table 6 below provides details of who can view Performance Feedback.

This depends on the access rights settings. If an employee does not have a View access right to the Performance tab under the profile of the recipient of the sent feedback, they can't access the sent feedback. Likewise, if an employee does not have a View access right to the Performance tab under their own profile, they can't access the sent feedback. 

 

Edit Performance Feedback

Who Can Edit Performance Feedback? 

The creator of the feedback can edit it.

 

When Can Performance Feedback be Edited?

Feedback that is created under the Performance tab can always be edited by the creator of the feedback.
