How can I set up the Integration Between MEP24web and Personio?
You need to generate new API credentials for this integration in Personio via Settings > Integrations > API credentials. For more information, read our article on how to generate and manage API credentials.
Integration activation in MEP24web
Enter your API access data in MEP24web to connect the interface.
To do this, go to MEP24web > Konfiguration > Grundeinstellungen > Reiter: Schnittstellen and set Personio: Aktiv? to Ja.
Enter your Personio Client ID and Secret in MEP24web under Personio: Benutzername and Personio: Passwort.
Enter the personnel number in Personio and MEP24web.
In Personio, go to Employees > Information > Personnel Information > Edit > Personnel Number > Submit.
In MEP24, go to Konfiguration > Stammdaten > Mitarbeiter auswählen > Mitarbeiter bearbeiten > Reiter: Stamm- > Personalnummer > Änderungen speichern.
In Personio, check the name of the absence under Settings > Absence > Absence types (for example: Paid leave).
Enter the name of the absence in MEP24web under Aktivitäten > Importschlüssel.
You can now enter the absence in the calendar in Personio via Employees > Select employees > Absence. These will be automatically synchronized with MEP24web.
In MEP24web, under Multiplaner > Monats- / Wochen- / Tagesplaner, the absences that were stored in Personio are displayed.
Absences stored in Personio are automatically synchronized (every 5 minutes) with MEP24web (one month retrospectively and three months ahead).
