What is NAVIT?
NAVIT is a mobility budget platform that helps companies offer their employees access to flexible and sustainable modes of urban transport by allocating individual mobility budgets that cover their transport needs.
NAVIT offers all modes of mobility for leisure, office, and business trips that are 100% carbon neutral and, in a tax optimized way, helping to ensure that companies get maximum value from the platform.

How can I set up the integration of NAVIT and Personio?
To set up the integration, first contact NAVIT to create your account with them. Then follow these steps:
Create custom attributes
Log in to your Personio account and create the necessary attributes in the employee information section:
NAVIT Status (Attribute type = List of options) with the following six options:
- New
- Active
- Paused
- Hard Pause
- Leave
- Deactivated
Mobility Budget (Attribute type = Number up to two decimal places).

Create API credentials
Using the NAVIT template you will automatically open all the necessary fields. If you prefer to do it manually, make sure to grant read and write permission next to Employees for the following attributes:
- First name
- Last name
- Status
- Hire date
- Employee ID
- IBAN
- NAVIT Status
- Mobility Budget
Keep your Client ID and Secret at hand as you will need these to complete the next step.
Complete the setup in NAVIT
- Login to your NAVIT dashboard, go to Settings and to the bottom part Integration Settings.
- Click Edit, enable the Personio integration toggle and input your ClientID and Secret you got from Personio and click on Save.
- The system will check if the credentials work and the fields above are correctly set. If everything is fine it will save and bring you back to the Settings screen.
Your setup is complete. Now go back to Personio and set the mobility budget amount for all employees you want to offer NAVIT mobility budget to. Everything else will be taken care by the integration, which means those employees will be created in NAVIT, assigned the mobility budget, and send the activation email to start enjoying the benefit.
