This article explains how you can create a Personio Career page for a legal entity. This will allow you to publish jobs on the career page of their respective legal entity, which will have its own domain, and adapts to your legal entity's brand identity.
Note Before you can create a Personio Career page for your legal entity, you need to configure your legal entity in your Personio account. Learn more about Configuring Legal entities.
Create a legal entity career page
To create a Personio Career page for a legal entity, follow these steps.
- Go to Settings > Recruiting > Career page.
- In Select company, select the respective legal entity from the drop-down list.
- Select a unique domain for your legal entity career page, such as your-legal entity.jobs.personio.com, and choose between the domain name extension .de and .com.
Note The domain name will be publicly visible in the URL of your new Personio Career page. It cannot be changed once it is set, so ensure that you use the correct domain name and check for spelling errors.
- Once you have filled in your domain name, the system will automatically tell you if this domain name is available. If another company is already using the domain name, you need to select an alternative domain name. Then click Create domain.
Configure a legal entity career page
To configure the Personio Career page of a legal entity, you need to activate it, configure the career page settings, and set up an application form.
Activations
Here you can enable the Personio Career page, and activate Google Jobs search.
Action | Notes |
Enable Personio career page | Tick this checkbox to activate the Personio Career page for your legal entity. All published jobs that are assigned to the legal entity will automatically be published on it. |
Enable Google Jobs |
To allow the Google Search engine to scan all jobs on a Personio Career page and make them eligible to appear in Google Search results and in Google Jobs search, select the Enable Google Jobs checkbox. You can use this type of search engine to increase the visibility of your job advertisements for potential candidates. Note The integration of the Google Job search only considers postings that are published directly on the Personio Career page. |
Show jobs on parent career page | To select if jobs posted on the Personio Career page of the legal entity should also be visible on the Personio Career page of the parent company, activate the checkbox for Show jobs on parent career page. |
Note There is no separate XML feed for legal entities. This XML feed contains all published jobs of the parent career page and the legal entity career page. If you go to Settings > Recruiting > Career page > Parent company > Activations > Enable XML feed, you can pull all relevant data from all jobs published on Personio Career pages into your company's custom career page. For more information on XML interfaces, read this Help Center article.

If you are using your legal entity's custom Career page and not the Personio Career page of your legal entity, enter the URL of your custom career page into this field. This is for information purposes only. |

You can group jobs on your Personio Career page by one of the options from the dropdown list. You can group by: Employment type, Department, Location, or Category. Note If a user filters the results on the Personio Career page using Job filters, the grouping of jobs will no longer apply. |
Job filters |
Click Add filter to create filtering options for jobs on your Personio Career page. You can activate filters for Employment type, Department, Location, or Category. If you configure several filters, you will be able to filter jobs on the career page on more than one value using dropdown lists. Application form settings
When candidates want to apply for a job via the Personio Career page of your legal entity, they will need to fill in an application form. The application form should request all the information you would like to receive from the candidate. This information will then be used to create a candidate profile in Personio. Follow these steps to create your application form:
- Go to Settings > Recruiting > Career page > Application form settings.
- Under Application form fields, select the candidate attributes that you would like to include in your application form from the list of available options.
- To choose which attributes should be mandatory for a candidate to fill in, activate the checkbox next to Required. You can create additional candidate attributes via Settings > Recruiting > Attributes.
Note If you want to use gender variables in offers and email templates, you can request the candidate's gender information in the application form. - Drag and drop the form fields, to decide the order in which they should appear on the form.
- In Document upload fields, select which type of documents you would like to request or offer to upload. The predefined default categories are CV and Other.
Alternatively, you can also set up a specific application form per job.
Customize the legal entity career page
To ensure that the Personio Career page of your legal entity adapts to your legal entity's corporate design, you can add custom elements such as your logo, a header background image, and adjust the font and colors for the different parts of your Personio Career page.
Tip To see a preview of your current settings at any time while configuring the Personio Career page, click Preview in the bottom-right corner. To apply changes at any time when configuring the Personio Career page, click Apply changes.
