This article explains the permissions that control access to Attendance-related data and features in Personio. It covers what each one does, so you can set up roles with the right level of access. Use it as a reference when you set up or manage Attendance permissions in your account.

Attendance data
This permission controls access to attendance data for employees. Use this to set whether role members can view or edit attendance entries, and for which employees.

Even with edit rights, employees can't approve attendance requests. You must also assign them as approvers in the approvals settings. |
Attendance projects
This permission controls access to configure attendance projects used to track time against specific activities or clients.
Attendance settings
This permission controls access to company-wide Attendance configurations. With this permission, members can create and manage work schedules, time tracking profiles, and other settings.
Import - attendance periods
This permission controls access to bulk import attendance periods for employees.
To perform this import, the role also needs edit access to Attendance data for the relevant employees.
Import - project members
This permission controls access to bulk import attendance project member assignments.
To perform this import, the role also needs:
- Access to the Attendance projects permission
AND - View access to Public profile for the relevant scope

To perform this import, the role also needs access to the Attendance projects permission.
