How can I set up the integration of Evalea and Personio?

Starting with the Essential Plan, you can connect one integration partner of your choice. If you would like to use more than one integration partner, this is possible from the Professional Plan onwards.

To set up the integration of Evalea and Personio you need the following information from your Personio account:

  • Client ID
  • Client Secret

To get the Client ID and Client Secret, navigate to Settings > API > Credentials. Select Generate new credentials.


Then the download of a file containing your credentials for the interface starts automatically.


Please note that the Generate new credentials command invalidates your previous credentials.

After you have generated the credentials, log in to your Evalea account as an account administrator. In your Evalea account, go to the Personio Interface page (Settings > Data import > Personio Interface).


Enter Client ID and Client Secret from your Personio account. Choose if the synchronization should be done manually or automatically and click "Save".


Employee base data and structures will be copied and synced from Personio to ensure an effortless setup at Evalea.


What data will be transferred?

With the integration, any attributes can be transferred to your Evalea account. Existing data in Evalea will be updated, new data records will be created automatically. In the setup, you can define how often the data should be transferred from Personio to Evalea or whether a data transfer should only be started manually.

You define which attributes should be transferred in your Personio account. The data fields are then automatically created in Evalea.


What are the costs?

The annual user fee depends on the number of employees and the number of modules booked. It becomes cheaper from the 2nd module onwards. Personio customers get an additional 5 % discount.
