This article explains how to configure a company shortcut on your Personio Dashboard. Company shortcuts are links to external websites, such as your company website, that are displayed on your employees' Personio dashboard.
To configure a company shortcut, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings > Organization > Dashboard.
- Click Add shortcut.
You can add up to five links to external websites.
- Under Icon, select a suitable symbol for your link from the drop-down menu.
- As Title, enter a title for the shortcut (maximum 30 characters). This will be displayed on the dashboard together with the icon.
- Then insert the URL where the shortcut should link to.
Links are validated via a DNS (Domain Name System) check. If the check is unsuccessful, the URL will be considered invalid and will be rejected. In this case, the shortcut cannot be saved.
This can be a reason that internal company URLs (for example, pages within your intranet) might be rejected.
