In this article, we explain which types of export will no longer be available in the future and which alternatives you can use to retrieve the analyses you need.
Reducing the Export Function
Custom reports have been developed to meet all of your requirements for a bespoke, flexible reporting system brought together in one central place. In line with this, custom reports will gradually replace the old "Exports" section.
The first step will consist of the following changes to the export function, taking effect from 30.05.2020:
- You will only be able to access the exports section via Reports > Exports. This will no longer be possible via the main navigation on the left.
- It will be no longer possible to create new exports of the following types:
- New employees
- Leaving employees
- Data changes
- You will still be able to create new exports of the export type Employee selection.
Please note that existing exports (created before 30.05.20) can still be used as normal going forward. The only thing you will no longer be able to do is create and configure new exports of the types mentioned above.
Using Custom Reports
Instead of using the export function, you can of course use Custom Reports. Just navigate to Reports > Custom reports > Create a customized report.

Filter (for the New Hires Report in April):

Point in time: last day of the month
Attributes:
- Name
- First name
- Status
- End of employment
- Department
- Position
Filter (for the Leaving Employees in April Report):
- Termination date greater than or equal to 01.04.2020

Please note that you can add additional attributes to the table columns at any time. These will only be displayed for the employees who meet the criteria under Filter employees by.
