How can I set up the integration of teambay and Personio?

Starting with the Essential Plan, you can connect one integration partner of your choice. If you would like to use more than one integration partner, this is possible from the Professional Plan onwards.

To set up the integration of teambay and Personio, you need the following information from your Personio account:

  • Client ID
  • Client Secret

To get the Client ID and Client Secret, navigate to Settings > API > Credentials. Select Generate new credentials.

Then the download of a file containing your credentials for the interface starts automatically.

Please note that the Generate new credentials command invalidates your previous credentials.

Now connect to your API data from Personio in teambay:

Afterward, you only have to assign the data fields in teambay to ensure all employee data is imported correctly:

You can trigger a manual import at any time as well as set up automatic updates.

What data will be transferred?

The employee API is used to transfer all data selected by you in “Access”. Necessary data are first name, last name, email, and status. In the teambay settings, you can assign the data from Personio to matching teambay data categories, as well as exclude data fields from the import.

 

What are the costs?

For the services provided by teambay you pay monthly fees depending on the number of your employees who use the app and on booked optional services. There is no extra charge for the Personio integration.
