This article introduces the About profile page in Personio. It offers a general overview and highlights its key functionalities.
The About profile page helps you find everything you need to know about your colleagues in one place. It shows essential information like roles, reporting chains, who someone works with, where they work, and how to contact them. This overview makes it easier to connect and collaborate with colleagues. With the About profile page, you can:
- View job roles and reporting lines to understand a colleague's role and collaborators.
- Access Org Chart and People List links for organizational context, including department information and reporting lines.
- Find contact links for colleagues.
- Check colleagues’ locations and their current local times.
Access the About profile page
The About profile page is part of your employee profile.
- To view it, go to your profile by clicking your picture in the bottom-left corner of the main menu.
- To see another person's About profile page, go to their profile by clicking their name, profile picture, or any link that directs you to their profile.
The About profile page is visible to everyone by default. Administrators and users with configuration access can deactivate it if needed. They can also turn off specific widgets for all employees, but individual access rights determine what information a user sees. Learn how to set up the About profile page.
Note:
During the early access period for the new Personio, only Administrators can access the About profile page. They can grant access to others through access rights after the rollout phase ends.
