The setup experience guides you through the Personio setup step by step. Follow each step and complete tasks in the setup experience for a successful setup.
Use the setup experience
You can access the setup experience from your homepage when you log in to start your implementation.
The setup experience has several stages and guides you through each in a step-by-step process. Configure and confirm your settings to move to the next stage. You need to resolve any outstanding items before you can continue.

Setup widget
The setup widget guides you through the initial Personio setup. It complements your Implementation Project Tracker. You must complete tasks in both the widget and the Project Tracker to finish setting up your account.
Start by completing the steps in the setup widget. Then, use the Project Tracker to help you finish setting up your Personio account.
The widget is available to Personio customers at the start of their implementation process based on company size and region. All customers can access their Project Tracker and our learning resources, whether they have the widget or not.
Use the setup widget
You can access the setup widget from your homepage when you log in to start your implementation. The widget consists of three stages, and you must complete the tasks in each to finish it.
This table outlines the structure and contents of the setup widget:

Tell us about your company | Confirming company information, adding employee data, and setting up office information. |
Set policies and work management | Defining and assigning work schedules, confirming roles and access rights, and confirming time off and accrual policies. |
Add additional company information | Importing salary data and confirming account and contract owners. |
You can expand each section of the widget to see the tasks within. Hovering over a task describes what action you need to take to mark it as complete. Clicking a task takes you to the relevant area in Personio to complete it.
Once you complete all tasks in the widget, go to your Project Tracker to finish your setup tasks.
