We are improving our analytics experience!
Last year, we rolled out a new analytics experience inspired by your feedback, featuring a new Report Builder, an Overview tab for quick insights, and pre-built report templates that you can easily build upon.
Since the launch of the Report Builder, we've added new data sources and features to enhance your reporting experience. Here's a recap of all the improvements we've released recently:

The Report Builder
The new Report Builder includes both an Overview tab and a Reports tab.
-
Overview tab: You can view valuable insights from company data through four default widgets. These widgets use graphics and diagrams for quick information access, sourcing data from Report Builder templates automatically run by the system. This tab will soon be replaced by the new Metrics tab.
- Reports tab: You can see a list of all reports, both custom and standard ones. Employees, based on their access rights, can also create and view all reports within this tab. Note that this list includes all custom reports generated within the company, whether by you or other employees, but only displays standard reports that you have personally created, as these cannot be shared currently.
You can create two types of reports using the new Report Builder:
-
Custom reports: Build a report from scratch and customize them to meet your specific reporting goals.
-
Reports: Choose from our pre-built templates to quickly generate reports tailored to common business needs, saving time and ensuring consistency. You can customize these reports by using both the Data and the Filters tabs:
- Data: Select charts, and define the time range, and segments to customize your report.
- Filters: You can view the results for only certain employee groups.
- Chart Types:You can choose up to 6 charts to illustrate company data. Use Line and Bar charts for a wider time range. Use Donut and Treemap charts for point-in-time data. Use Table charts to review data per employee in a detailed and structured format (similar to custom reports).
- Time Range: Select either a point in time or time range, depending on the chart type.
- Segment By: You can segment your report by all system and custom attributes of the List of option types, such as department or office.
New report templates
Since June 2024, we're adding more report templates to the new Report Builder. We are also replacing the legacy system reports with these new and advanced templates.
The Metrics tab
The new Metrics tab will eventually replace the Overview tab. This tab currently includes five sections, each with different widgets.
It's a more advanced version of the Overview tab, as it allows you to customize which widgets employees see in the Metrics tab and their display order. It also allows you to add your own custom widgets to each section. You can create a widget from scratch or use a pre-built option.
