This article gives an overview of the Performance tab, as well as an explanation for the Performance settings for allocating bonus salaries and how to create feedback forms.
You can access this tab by going to an employee's profile and clicking on the tab Performance. The Performance Overview section comprises four mains sections: Feedback, Upcoming performance meetings, Goal and Performance notes.
In this section, you can find all of your feedback drafts and all the feedback published for the employee. Please keep in mind that the drafts are only visible to the person who created them, whether they are supervisors or the employees themselves. Please note that, to write feedback for an employee or for employees to use the feedback section for self-reflection, an edit right is needed for the Performance data.
2. Upcoming performance meetings
In this section, you can have an overview of the upcoming meetings or click on Schedule meeting to create a new meeting. For more information on how to set up and manage performance meetings, have a look here.
In this section, you can have an overview of the set goals or click on Create new goal to enter a new goal for the employee. For more information on how you can define and manage goal agreements, have a look here.
4. Performance notes
In this section, you can add comments about the employee's development that are not visible to the employee. For more information on how to create Performance notes, have a look here.
1. Configuring Bonus distribution
In your account, navigate to Settings > Performance > General and click on Edit next to General performance settings. You can now choose the interval for paying performance-based bonuses. These can be activated in combination with goal agreements. The following options are available:
- End of period
- After period
- Distribute evenly over period

2. Creating Form Templates
If you go to Settings > Performance > Form templates, you can create forms that will be used for the feedback section of the Performance tab (in the employee profile). By doing so, you can customize the information to be collected regarding an employee's performance.
To create a new form, click on the Create a new form button, give a name to the template and click on Create.
You can then add questions by following these steps:
- Click on the Add questions button.
- In the configuration window, enter your question and click on Add to save the question.
- In the dropdown menu, select the type of answer that should be used.

- You can then decide whether you would like to Allow evaluators to provide a comment on the option they chose, and if you want this question to be mandatory, by ticking the respective boxes.
- Finally, you can edit the question by clicking on it. Don't forget to click on the Save button to make sure your changes are reflected.
Once your template is created, you can then use the drag and drop function to organize the questions in your preferred order.
If you would like to reuse the settings you already made for a question, you have the option to duplicate questions. This will result in the settings of your answer's type to be copied in a new question. To do this, click on the Duplicate button next to your question. You can only duplicate your questions within the same form.
Once you are done, click on the Save button.
