This article explains how you can use attributes to structure your job openings individually.
Setting Up Your Company Profile and Job Description Fields
You can configure your job description fields by navigating to Settings > Recruiting > Job descriptions. Create as many job description fields as you require by using the Add new job description field input field. If you would like to advertise your vacancies in several languages, you can also enter your job description fields in different languages. Decide which category each job description field should be assigned to.
The predefined categories are used to organize your job description fields. If you use Personio to publish your vacancies on external job portals, this categorization is necessary in order to structure your position correctly; however, it will not be displayed. You can find further information on this function and the other prerequisites for publishing on external job portals via multi-posting here.
Creating Job Openings
Navigate to Recruiting > Job overview and click on Create position. Enter the title of the job position, select the position's desired start date and, optionally, add a note. Then click on Next. Add all the required information in the window that opens. Among other things, you can define the category to which the job opening should be assigned. This determines which recruiting process will later be used. You can find out how to set up recruiting categories in Personio here.
You can then provide further specifications by clicking on Edit and filling out the meta information with information relevant to the position in question. All the entries marked with * are mandatory when externally publishing the job opening via Personio.
If you do not want to include all the job description fields in your job posting, simply leave the ones you do not require blank. Only the fields that you have filled out will be displayed and published.
Now, fill out the details under Job with all the important information about the position. You can use the language menu to switch between the different translations of the posting, allowing you to create the job position in different languages.
If you do not want to advertise your job openings in different languages, simply leave the relevant fields in the job opening blank. Only the translations that you enter will be displayed.
Enter keywords (e.g. IT, service, HR, permanent position, internship) so that the applicants visiting your Personio career page can use keyword searches to find relevant job openings. The About us section will be added by default to every job posting; you can edit it via Settings > Recruiting > Career page > Translations.
To facilitate the internal management of your job openings, you can add an optional reference number to help identify jobs in emails and on job portals. You can also add the budgeted salary, internal comments and a PDF description.
The internal information will only be visible to employees who have access to the job opening.
Finally, use the detail view of the job opening, which you will find under Advertise, to check a preview of your job posting. Here, you can check how your job opening looks in each different language you are using. If everything is correct, publish your job posting by going to the Publication section. You can find further information on this here.
Please note that you can no longer grant access to the position created and recruiting roles while you are in edit mode. Instead, navigate to the detail view once you have created the job opening and enter the recruiting team for the position under Responsibles.

Duplicating Job Openings
Under Job overview > View job details, you can click on the Duplicate job position button to create a copy of the job opening's content and meta information. You can then adapt and rename this as required. This will save you time, for example if you would like to advertise the same position for different offices.
