This article explains how AI credits work in Personio, including how bonus credits function and how to manage billable usage for your organization.
Certain features in Personio, like the Talent Screening Agent in Recruiting, require AI credits to run. These billable AI features consume credits at a fixed rate, and each credit costs a set amount.
Personio offers eligible accounts complimentary bonus credits to give them an opportunity to try billable AI features before you're charged for using them.
Users who have access to billable AI features see a notification offering bonus credits. They can accept these credits on behalf of their organization. You don't need to be an Administrator to do this.
You can only claim bonus credits in Personio. Support agents can't add them for you.
Claiming bonus credits applies to the whole organization, not just to you. Once claimed, anyone with access to the feature can use it and draw from the bonus credits. When someone accepts the credits, every Administrator for your organization gets an email confirming the billable AI feature is now active.
Note:
Bonus credits expire 30 days after you claim them, and any unused credits are lost. Claim them only when you're ready to start using the feature, since the 30-day clock starts right away.
As people use billable AI features, Personio tracks bonus credit consumption and triggers notifications at two thresholds:
At either point, the person using the feature can choose to notify their Administrator about the usage and prompt them to enable Billable usage.
When your organization reaches 100% bonus credit usage, billable AI features stop working until an Administrator accepts Billable usage.
Administrator acceptance is a one-time action. Once your organization enables Billable usage, you can go into billable arrears each month until an Administrator deactivates it.
